I've just spilled liquid on my laptop — what should I do right now?
Turn it off immediately (hold the power button), unplug it, don't try to charge or "test" it, and don't put it in rice. Get it to us as fast as you can — speed is the single biggest factor in recovery.
Is liquid damage always repairable?
Not always — it depends on what was spilled and how quickly it was powered down. We give an honest assessment after opening and inspecting it, and we prioritise rescuing your data either way.
Can you save my data even if the machine is dead?
Often, yes. Even when a board is beyond economical repair, we can usually recover the data from the drive — see our data recovery service.
