Data Recovery
Lost files, dead drives, failed RAID? We assess the device, tell you honestly what's recoverable, and work from an image — with no-recovery-no-fee on standard jobs.
Don’t give up on your data
Dropped laptop, dead hard drive, accidentally deleted the wrong folder, a server that won’t mount? Before you panic — or pay for a brand-new drive — talk to us. Data that looks gone often isn’t, and the first move you make matters more than anything that follows.
What we recover from
- Failed hard drives — mechanical and logical faults
- Dead or corrupted SSDs and USB drives
- Accidentally deleted or formatted files
- Failed RAID arrays and NAS devices
- Water- and fire-damaged devices
Who it’s for
Businesses and home-workers facing real data loss — a finance PC that won’t boot before month-end, a NAS that’s dropped two disks, a photographer’s full memory card, or anyone who’s just realised the “backup” hasn’t run in months. The more important the data, the sooner you should stop and call.
How recovery works
- Assessment — we examine the device and give you a clear, honest verdict on what’s recoverable
- Quote — a fixed price up front, with no-recovery-no-fee on standard jobs
- Recovery — we image the device first and work from the copy, so your original is never put at further risk
- Return — we hand back your recovered data on fresh media, and can help set up a backup so it doesn’t happen again
Honest, careful, confidential
We treat your data confidentially, never run a failing device harder than we have to, and tell you straight if it isn’t recoverable or isn’t economic to recover. Recovery is never guaranteed — the fault, the media and what has already happened to the device all decide it, and no honest firm can promise you an outcome before looking. What we will do is assess it properly and tell you where you stand before you spend anything. Stop using the device and get in touch: there’s no walk-in shop, so we arrange collection and return, or come to you on-site.
Frequently asked questions
Is recovery guaranteed?
No. Anyone who guarantees recovery is not being straight with you — it depends on the fault, the media and what has happened to the device since. We assess it, tell you what we think is recoverable before you commit, and standard jobs are no-recovery-no-fee, so there's no cost if we can't get your data back.
My drive is making clicking noises — what should I do?
Stop using it immediately and call us — we'll arrange collection, or come to you. Continuing to run a failing drive can turn a recoverable fault into permanent data loss, and every power-on does more damage.
Can you recover a failed server or RAID without losing the array?
Usually yes. We work from images of the member disks rather than the live array, so we can attempt recovery without risking further damage to your original data.
